Founded in 2008 by Lucien Arino, Centre Rézodanse – Egypte is an independent cultural centre dedicated to the promotion and the development of dance in Alexandria, Egypt. Our goal is to create a place where people can expand their knowledge of dance and meet with people of like interest.
Rézodanse is dedicated to bringing quality and affordable teaching in Alexandria, besides carrying out several events including the annual contemporary dance creation festival, Nassim el Raqs between 2011 and 2016, as well as the Silsilah dance training programme and Mashtal arts education training project.
Since 2013, Rézodanse is an official member of the International Dance Council of the UNESCO.
Our activities are funded by several local and international donors, including the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Egypt, the French Institute in Egypt, the British Council, the Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) and Al Mawred Al Thaqafy.
The establishment of Centre Rézodanse – Egypte has been made possible through the financial support of Al Mawred Al Thaqafy, through the Abbara programme.

Fondé en 2008 par Lucien Arino, Centre Rézodanse – Egypte est un centre culturel indépendant dédié à la promotion et au développement de la danse à Alexandrie en Egypte. Notre objectif est de proposer un espace où chacun puisse développer ses aptitudes à la danse et rencontrer des personnes partageant les mêmes centres d’intérêts.
Rézodanse s’attache à apporter une formation abordable et de qualité à Alexandrie, tout en proposant une série d’évènements culturels à l’année, dont le festival de danse contemporaine Nassim el Raqs entre 2011 et 2016, le programme de formation Silsilah et le projet de formation en éducation artistique et culturelle Masthal.
Depuis 2013, Rézodanse est membre officiel du Conseil International de la Danse de L’UNESCO.
Nos activités sont en partie financées par des acteurs locaux et internationaux, tels l’ambassade des Pays-Bas en Egypte, l’Institut Français d’Egypte, le British Council, le Fonds Arabe pour les Arts et la Culture (AFAC) et Al Mawred Al Thaqafy.
Le développement du Centre Rézodanse – Egypte a été rendu possible grâce au soutien financier de Al Mawred Al Thaqafy, à travers le programme Abbara.
